2. Nature of Our Service (Transient Conduit)
Important Notice to Copyright Owners: TikTok HD Download operates strictly as an automated, passive proxy and conversion tool. We do not host, store, cache, upload, or archive any video or audio files on our servers.
When a user inputs a public TikTok URL, our system merely queries public TikTok endpoints and returns the direct CDN streaming link provided by TikTok. The actual media file remains stored on ByteDance's servers. If you wish to remove content permanently from the web, you must also file a takedown request directly with TikTok at tiktok.com/legal/report/infringement.
3. How to Submit a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent thereof and believe that your copyrighted work is being accessed through our tool in a manner that constitutes infringement, please submit a written notification containing all of the following statutory elements:
- Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or digital signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description or link identifying the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
- Identification of the Infringing Material: The exact TikTok URL(s) that you claim is infringing, with sufficient information to enable us to locate and block the URL from being processed by our tool.
- Contact Information: Your full legal name, company name (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and valid email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (such as fair use).
- Statement of Accuracy Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

5. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that access to your content was blocked or removed as a result of mistake, misidentification, or fair use, you may submit a formal Counter-Notification pursuant to 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g)(3). The counter-notice must include your contact details, identification of the material that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury consenting to federal jurisdiction, and your physical or electronic signature.
6. Penalties for False or Bad-Faith Claims
Please be advised that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for statutory damages, including court costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer, copyright owner, or service provider.
